60 years discovered the double helix of DNA

(ANSAmed) – Rome, 24 APR-“60 years ‘ accomplished but is still more studied and molecule in which the hopes of millions of patients and researchers around the world are focused.” Nature article first published in the April 25, 1953 by James Watson and Francis Crick described the structure of the DNA double helix. The discovery dates back to February of the same year, by Watson and Crick, looking at the image of rays x taken by Maurice Wilkins, who shared with them the Nobel Prize in ‘ 62. All rights reserved
