Remains on Concordia confirmed as missing woman

(ANSA) – Grosseto, October 24 – Police said Thursday the remains found on the wreck of the Costa Concordia are those of passenger Maria Grazia Trecarichi. DNA analysis was used to confirm her identity. Trecarchi had been one of the passengers missing after the crash in January 2012 that killed 32 people.
