‘Record’ ultra-light’ Italian flight ends in Australia

'Record' ultra-light' Italian flight ends in Australia (ANSA) – Sydney, November 1 – Two Italian pilots ended a 22,000km, 16-country ultra-light flight in Australia Friday they hope will get them into the Guinness Book of Records.

Antonio Forato and Roberto Bisa landed in a Flysyntesys Texan Top 100 and a Technam P92 Eaglet at Southport on Queensland’s Gold Coast. No one has made a flight like theirs in ultra-light tourist planes, which can stay in the air 7-8 hours before having to refuel, they say.
