Tiny fossils, large landslides: Are diatoms the important thing to Earth’s largest slides?

The most important landslides on Earth aren’t on land, however on the seafloor. These mega-slides can transfer hundreds of cubic kilometers of fabric, and typically set off tsunamis. But, remarkably, they happen on almost flat slopes of lower than three levels.
