Five genes for an identikit of the face

(ANSA) – AMSTERDAM, September 14 – in the future could be a sample of DNA to draw the portrait of a face: were in fact identified five genes ‘architect’ to shape the features of a human face. The discovery, published in Plos Genetics, is the first step towards ‘the genetic identikit’ and has such an international study coordinated by the Netherlands, with the Erasmus University Medical Center, the University Consortium VisiGen.
