Astronomy: Milky ancestor discovered

(ANSA) – Rome, 19 JUL – discover the ancestor of the milky way, named for now only with an acronym, BX442. Investigators determined that it belongs to the ‘spiral’ type, due to the characteristic shape with a bright Center and long arms ‘twisted’, the same as the milky way and rotation of most galaxies from us. It has the characteristic of being much older than the other. The discovery helps to better understand the evolution of these enormous masses of matter. All rights reserved
