Budget law could include tax hike on gas, diesel

(ANSA) – Rome, November 22 – Italy’s budget law may be amended to introduce an increase in the excise tax applied on gasoline and diesel fuels from January 2017 through the end of 2018 so as to generate additional public revenues of 419 million euros.
