Confindustria likes most of eco plan
P(ANSA) – Rome, April 14 – Premier Matteo Renzi’s economic blueprint, unveiled last week, is generally sound but is missing broad-based tax reductions, industrial employers’ group Confindustria said Monday.BR”We do not agree with the decision of the (Renzi cabinet) to focus largely on the tax reduction for employees on low incomes,” and a cut to the Irap regional business tax, but should instead have spread tax reductions more widely, said Confindustria general managed Marcella Panucci.BRRenzi’s blueprint includes 10 billion euros in tax reductions for lower-income taxpayers and a 10% reduction in the Irap business tax.BR/P
