Europe's oldest grandma turns 114 (ANSA) – Verbania, November 29 – The oldest grandmother in Europe turned 114 in northern Italy Friday. Emma Morano, from the city of Verbania, 60 miles from Milan, was honored by Italian President Giorgio Napolitano with a birthday telegram delivered at a party attended by family, local officials and the press.
