PThe Roman prosecutor’s office believes Angelo Giuliani had an illicit role in awarding a public contract for street-cleaning services after traffic accidents to the Sicurezza e Ambiente (SEA – Safety and Environment) company. Three people associated with the company were also placed under house arrest./PPThe former director general of State broadcaster Rai, Alfredo Meocci, is also under investigation in relation to the case./PPMeocci is suspected of helping SEA win the contract in his role as a member of an authority on public tenders./P
