France, Italy push for growth initiatives
(see related) (ANSA) – Rome, November 20 – Italian Premier Enrico Letta and French President Francois Hollande stressed Wednesday the need for greater investment to spur growth in the eurozone in order to counteract the lingering effects of the economic crisis. In a joint statement following a summit in Rome, the leaders said both countries wish to “promote a new political ambition based as much on integration as on solidarity. This should include the realization of a real financial capability for the eurozone, able to finance policies and investments” for growth and employment. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED
