PThe Expo theme, “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life” dovetails with the pope’s concern about world hunger and reducing waste./PPLast month, in a video message for the Caritas Internationalis campaign against world hunger Francis said that the world produces enough food for everyone, and so there is no justification for allowing hunger to continue./PPThe Expo invitation was announced in a Twitter message posted by Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi, president of the Pontifical Council for Culture. The pope also met Friday with the Archbishop of Milan, Cardinal Angelo Scola, and a delegation from Expo 2015 including Commissioner Giuseppe Sala and President Diana Bracco./P
