From the model of mobile phone for disaster relief

(ANSA) – Rome, 19 JUN – from mobile phones to aid relief for victims of the earthquake: mobile phones help to rebuild the population movements after a natural disaster. So says a study led by the Karolinska Institute, Sweden, published in the journal of the Academy of Sciences of the United States.

Analyzes the movements of 2 million people in the months before and after the earthquake that struck Haiti 2010. According to research, the population of the capital, excluding the dead, lost 23% of its inhabitants.
