Goodbye to Darwin in the last frog

(ANSAmed) – Rome, NOV 21 – left squawk, extinct by an infection, rana of Darwin from the most recent, a species of amphibians, named in homage to the father of evolutionism. The case, analyzed by an international research group coordinated by the Zoological Society of London, is described in Plos One. It is a rare example of an extinction of species due to human or environmental causes. The murderer of Darwin then, one of two species known as Darwin frogs, is an infection caused by a fungus.
