Japanese pupil discovers new crustacean species in deep sea hydrothermal vent

A brand new species of microcrustacean was collected from a submarine scorching spring (hydrothermal vent) of a marine volcano (Myojin-sho caldera) within the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Japan. This crustacean group is discovered solely in deep-sea hydrothermal vents and is the primary of its type present in Japanese waters.
