(ANSA) – Florence, November 6 – The sentence in an appeals retrial of Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito for the 2007 Perugia murder of British exchange student Meredith Kercher will likely come on January 10, according to a court schedule released Wednesday.

US student Knox and her Italian former boyfriend Sollecito were convicted of the murder in 2009 and acquitted on appeal in 2011. Last year the supreme court sent the case back to the appeals stage.
