Letta says markets reaction to budget positive

(ANSA) – Rome, October 17 – Italian Premier Enrico Letta said Thursday that markets seemed pleased with his new budget decree.

“Yesterday, rates were at their lowest in two years”, Letta said, adding that this shows that “we are on the right track”.

Letta made the comments during meetings with President Barack Obama in Washington.
