Man arrested for beating wife

(ANSA) – Scandiano, December 2 – Italian police on Monday arrested a 47-year-old factory worker in this town near Reggio Emilia after his wife had to receive medical treatment for a beating for the fifth time this year.

Police said the beating took place in front of their daughter. The woman had reported the man for domestic violence “several times”, police said.
