Man arrested for beating wife in front of children

(ANSA) – Bergamo, November 6 – Italian police on Wednesday arrested a man for allegedly beating his wife in front of their three young children.

The Egyptian immigrant, 43, was known to the police for similar incidents, judicial sources said.

His 36-year-old wife, also Egyptian, called police at a small town near Bergamo after the latest assault.
