Man kills deputy mayor wife then commits suicide

(ANSA) – Loano (Savona), October 11 – A 55-year-old man in the north-western town of Loano on Friday killed his wife, who served as deputy mayor in the nearby town of Borghetto Santo Spirito, and then committed suicide, Carabinieri police said. Paolo Noisello reportedly shot dead Stefania Maritano, 49, the vice mayor and budget councilor of Borghetto. Police are investigating the homicide-suicide. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED
