Napolitano receives UN chiefs in Rome
P(ANSA) – Rome, May 7 – Italian President Giorgio Napolitano on Wednesday received United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon at the presidential palace, a statement from the president’s press office said. Napolitano was also visited by the heads of the UN agencies, who were gathered in Rome for a meeting of the UN Chief Executives Board for Coordination (CEB), a body that meets twice a year to co-ordinate the work of UN organizations.BRItalian Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini was also present.BRItaly is currently pushing for international agencies like the UN to arbitrate in a row between Rome and New Delhi over two Italian marines held in Italy without trial for over two years for allegedly killing two fishermen while on anti-pirate patrol.BR/P
