Researchers have offered new insights into how molten rock (magma) strikes via the Earth’s crust to feed volcanic eruptions. Utilizing laboratory experiments involving water, jelly and laser imaging, researchers have been capable of reveal how magma magma flows via the Earth’s crust to the floor via magma-filled cracks known as dykes.
