New wreck is dramatic confirmation of emergency- Letta

(ANSA) – Rome, October 11 – The new boat wreck in the Channel of Sicily in which around 50 people are thought to have died is the “dramatic confirmation of the emergency situation” Italy faces with migrants, Premier Enrico Letta said Friday, according to government sources. The sources said Letta was determined to raise the issue with force at the next EU summit.
