Officers injured rounding up wild deer in Monza
P(ANSA) – Monza, April 23 – Two police officers were slightly injured as they tried to round up a large and frightened wild deer found lopping down a central street in the northern Italian city of Monza.BRThe deer was eventually cornered in a bus station in Monza, about 15 kilometers north of Milan, Tuesday night and wildlife specialists brought the large animal under control.BRPolice had received numerous calls about the deer, which will be returned to what is believed to be its natural habitat in a hilly range about 50 kilometres north of Monza.BR/P
