(ANSAmed) – Rome, 18 NOV – pediatricians should be cautious in prescribing antibiotics for ear infections, nose that runny and other signs of cooling, because often they are caused by viruses, bacteria or these medicines have no effect. This was stated by the American Academy of Pediatrics in the journal Pediatrics, recommending, in some cases, a strategy of ‘waiting’ before the prescription. “Wait and evaluate,” writing experts, is valid especially for the symptoms of cooling.
