Reforms will see Italy through recession says Obama

(ANSA) – Rome, October 17 – Economic reforms implemented in Italy by Premier Enrico Letta “are of great help to bring the country out of recession,” United States President Barack Obama said Thursday.

He said he was confident the Italian economy would pick up, helped by the 2014 budget Letta put to parliament this week.
