PAs national leader of the centre-left Democratic Party (PD), Renzi will be consulted by Italian President Giorgio Napolitano regarding the formation of a new government after Premier Enrico Letta, also of the PD, stepped down on Friday./PPLetta resigned after PD lawmakers responded Renzi’s call for a new government on Thursday.
