The executive plans to strip the Senate of its lawmaking powers and turn it into a leaner assembly of local-government representatives. PIt also wants to change Article V of the Constitution to scrap Italy’s provincial administrations and take back some powers from the country’s regional governments, many of which are guilty of overspending. “A parliamentary act will be made official on the Senate and on Article V (of the Constitution) within 15 days,” Renzi told a meeting of PD lawmakers./PIMG id=mediaViewer title=”” alt=”” src=”http://www.mineralfossil.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/wpid-trasp99.gif”ALL RIGHTS RESERVED
