PBallardini, whose contract runs until June 30, began work immediately and replaces former coach Stefano Pioli, who was sacked one day earlier. Ballardini, 50, of Ravenna, has formerly coached Lazio, Cagliari, Palermo and Genoa./PPBologna are one point above the relegation zone in 17th place after winning just three of the 18 league matches they have played so far this season./PPPioli is the sixth Serie A boss to lose his job this term./PPLazio, Genoa, Catania, Sampdoria and Chievo have also changed coaches./P
