Space: In Turin ‘shuttle’ the future

The experimental aircraft IXV (Intermediate eXperimental Vehicle) built by Thales Alenia Space for the Esa, is ready and will be undergoing final tests before being moved to the launch, scheduled in October, in Kourou, in French Guiana. The plane will reach 412 km altitude to begin re-entry and then recovered on the ground, to be reused.
