Spread closes steady on 237
(ANSA) – Rome, December 3 – The spread between Italian 10-year bonds and their AAA-rated German equivalents, the premium investors pay to hold Italian paper, closed steady Tuesday on 237 points with a 4.08% yield. The Milan bourse closed 1.95% down as European markets had their worst day since August amid worries the United States may start easing stimulus policies.
London was 0.95% down, Frankfurt 1.90%, Paris 2.65%, Madrid 1.44% and Athens 0.59% down.
