The experience triggers the brain

(ANSAmed) – Rome, May 13 after making very different experiences in an environment rich in stimuli, 2 genetically identical mice have developed very different personalities, because birth new neurons in their brains. The study, published in Science, is coordinated by the Technical University of Dresden. For the first time, it shows that the brain can be sculptured by the interaction with the environment and the growth of new neurons in the adult age promotes different individuality even in identical twins.
