PPaolo Sorrentino’s acclaimed Felliniesque picture of a jaded journalist surveying a decadent Rome had an average share of 36.12%, the channel said, luring an average 8.861 million viewers./PPSome parts of the film saw over 12 million viewers tuning in, a share of over 40%./PPThe Great Beauty’s first showing on Italian TV also created a Twitter boom with more than 700,000 tweets, rocketing it to the top of Italian trending topics.
