Thieves rip off gold pawn shop with grenade
(ANSA) – Rome, November 22 – A pair of thieves made off with 7,000 euros from a gold pawn shop in Rome Friday after threatening to detonate a grenade. Police said the suspects, both Italian, forced their way into the shop by waving the grenade in front of the window, then pointed a gun at shopkeepers as they took the money and ran.
