Warmth loss from the Earth triggers ice sheet slide in direction of the ocean

In North-East Greenland, researchers have measured the lack of warmth that comes up from the inside of the Earth. This monumental space is a geothermal ‘scorching spot’ that melts the ice sheet from beneath and triggers the sliding of glaciers in direction of the ocean.
